Yes, the fill is mostly water, but it is a water gel, so it is not the same consistency or viscosity as water. A small amount of the moisture may indeed be absorbed more readily, but it does not affect the quality of the mark.
Oil doesn't necessarily "adhere" to lenses, it just has different flow properties. Again, there is always a chance of getting fill inside the goggles through vents, but this will be due to where the paintball strikes. HydroTec changes viscosity at impact, but only for milliseconds, it changes to a gel state again almost instantaneously and does not "flow" like water. Please see our video as we are shooting a Lexan plastic surface. The fill does not run after impact. The same cannot be said about oil fills.

-Nuestra primera duda fué acerca de que con un componente de agua,los materiales textiles del paintball eran absorventes en cuanto a liquidos no viscosos,,dado que un impacto seria absorvido.
-Nuestra segunda pregunta era referente a la viscosidad de la bola en las lentes,dadas que en el video dejaba ver que no era una mancha consistente.Si no que ,al no ser una mancha viscosa,no se "adheria" a la lente,y por lo tanto no podria dejar una mancha consistente que dejara una marca antecedente de un impacto (como pasa con las bolas comunes),según ellos si deja un restregón significante durante un tiempo para que este sea visto y ademas de ello si viscosidad se asemeja al comportamiento normal de las bolas.
Ademas de ello nos dicen que estan preparando un video sobre un plastico (el de la mayoria de plasticos de mascaras y cargadores) .
