Greg Siewers de Explicit en "Players Week"! =) Spanish & English version!

Ahora mismo en SF Explicit,pero este año tambien e jugado con SD Afthermatch.

Tiger Sharsk, Spyder extra, EGOs...muchas egos,DMs,y ahora Geo.
¿còmo empezaste a jugar paintball?
Empezé a jugar con mi padre,el azar hizo que nos tropezaramos con un campo viajando por el interior del pais,y al dia siguiente ya estabamos jugando...ahi empezo todo.
¿tu primer torneo?
El Skyball VII
¿el mas recordado?
Evidentemente la WorldCup 2008.
¿Como llegaste a ser un jugador de Explicit?
Realmente los conocí en los entrenamientos se Sacramento,cuando me fui d emi equipo Explicit me esperaba con los brazos abiertos para enrolarme en sus filas.
Mi equipo significa mucho para mí. Siempre he pensado que cuanto más cerca está un equipo fuera del campo, el más peligroso es en el campo, independientemente de la competencia o nivel de habilidad.
¿Que opinión tienes sobre el paintball en España?
El paintball en españa es bastante bueno,ademas contra los equipos que me he enfrentado poco a poco han ido creciendo,y más en los ultimos años con los campeonatos internacionales como Malaga Beach.
¿Donde crees que te encontrarás dentro de 10 años?
No creo que en 10 años este muy agil,pero espero poder estar dentro del mundillo del paintball ayudando a jugadores y equipos con planes nutricionales o enseñandoles.
¿Cuantas cosas as dejado atrás por el paintball?
He dejado todo,novia,ciudad,amigos,fiestas,mi cuenta bancaria...rodillasrealmente es una gran lista,pero no me apartaria de este deporte por nada del mundo.
¿Que sentiste al entrar en el equipo Explicit?
La verdad es que me senti dentro de un gran grupo comprometido y unido.amenudo veo equipos que no estan nada comprometidos ni dentro ni fuera del equipo.Los chicos de Explicit me devolvieron esas ganas de seguir jugando a este deporte,me hicieron encontrar el sentido del paintball.

I started playing paintball with my dad. He randomly stumbled into an indoor field one day and after my first time playing...it was on.

How did you become an Explicit player?
I became an Explicit player through playing against the team during practices in Sacramento. Eventually I got to know some of the guys on the team, and when I left the bushwackers, the team was there and willing to have me come aboard.
What does your team mean to you?
My team means a lot to me. I have always thought that the closer a team is off the field, the more dangerous it is on the field, regardless of the competition or skill level.
What is your opinion on the paintball in Spain?
Where do you think you are within 10 years?
In 10 years, I hope I am still abig part of paintball. I may not be very agile by then, so my hope is I will stay in touch with the sport through providing players with nutritional plans, or mabe even coaching them.
How many things have you given up for paintball?

What is your opinion on the paintball in Spain?
Paintball in Spain is great. The teams that I have played against have become better and better, especially within the last year. Spain also shows so much potential for the sport because of great events like Malaga Milleniums.
What did you feel when enter in SF Explicit?
When I entered Explicit I felt a new sense of loyalty and commitment. I have seen a lot of teams play very lax, and not commit to the sport, but the kids on Explicit have relit that fire and reminded me why I love the sport so much.

El rumor del dia.Explicit ficha por KEE!
Como bien dice el comunicado de Propaintball:
"Today’s pro paintball rumor of the day is that San Francisco Explicit dropped JT pro-flex goggle systems and switched to E-Vent goggle systems by KEE Action Sports. In addition, the team is said to have made another major pick up to solidify the teams roster. Read on for the latest paintball news from San Francisco Explicit.After reviewing the Explicit Facebook page and speaking with members of the team we were able to confirm that the rumor is in fact true and the team will be wearing the E-vent goggle systems throughout the remainder of the season and throughout 2010. Rumor also has former Bushwacker Shane Howe joining Greg Siewers on San Francisco Explicit. Shane won’t be attending the DC USPL for personal reasons but will be joining the team at the USPL Vegas finale. To clear up any potential confusion, Shane and Greg will be competing with SDA for X-Ball and SF Explicit for 7-man."
Explicit deja la marca Jt en cuanto a mascaras para pasarse a las E-vent de KEE.Ademas de eso anuncian que en la pagina de Facebook de Explicit podeis hablar directamente con los jugadores de Explicit,incluido Greg Siewers.

Greg Siewers en Explicit!
Pese a su corta edad,Greg ya es un veterano en lo que a paintball se refiere,podriamos decir que es uno de los jugadores promesa,destacando en grandes equipos como Huricanes,IronMen,Xsv y ha jugado el 2009 con BushWakers.
Greg apenas ha jugado 2 semanas con Explicit y tanto la moralidad del equipo como el nivel de juego ha aumentado,pese a que no es el unico "galactico" de Explicit,ha llegado a enseñarles al equipo cosas que no sabian que les faltaba por aprender.
Explicit se prepara con este nuevo jugador par afrentar la "temida" DC Dhallenge,donde Greg será gran apoyo para el equipo que lleva meses entrenando para ello.

Años:Llevo jugando al Paintball 14 años.
Ciudad: Crecí en Concord pero ahora vivo en Woodland,California.
¿en que equipo juegas? Juego en San Francisco Explicit.
¿en que equipos has jugado? E jugado para Agent Orange, Fallen, Mavericks, Old School Hussle, Republic, Rodents, Guns 4 Hire, Odonto y ahora en San Francisco Explicit.
¿que marcadoras has tenido? Bueno,llevo jugando mucho tiempo,por lo cual he disparado todas las marcadoras de paintball que puedas imaginar.Haré una lista con lo mejor que he disparado empezé con una simple marcadora de 12 gramos llamada Splat Master, Hammer pump, Sheridon VM68, F2 illistrator, Tippmann custom, Air Gun Designs Auto-mag, Air Gun Designs Mini-mag, M2 Designs Micro-cocker, Automag, WDP Angel LED, WDP Angel LCD, WDP Angel 4, Dye DM4, Dye DM5, Dye DM6, Planet Eclipse 07 Ego, Planet Eclipse 08 Ego, Planet Eclipse 09 Ego.Es curioso y sorprendente ver como ha evolucionado el mundo de las marcadoras,desde un simple disparo a disparo a una technologia brutal donde disparas inumerables bolas por segundo.Tengo que admitir que Eclipse es la merjor marca de paintball que he utilizado, son rápidas, precisas, fáciles de mantener y fiables.
¿còmo empezaste a jugar paintball? Empezé jugando en el cumpleaños de un amigo cuando tenia tan solo 15 años,hasta entonces,yo no sabia que era el paintball,yo solo habia jugado a lasers.Ese mismo dia me enganchó y desempeñando todo lo que ha venido desde entonces.
¿tu primer torneo? Mi primer torneo fué en un campo de alquiler local llamado Venture Games en California,donde jugamos en una ladera utilizando arboles y bunkers de maderas como obstaculos.Incluso habian granadas de humo.Si mal no recuerdo quedamos 2os por encima de unos amigos que eran mayores que nosotros.Pero en realidad eso no era lo importante,jugabamos para divertirnos,no importaba si quedabamos primeros o ultimos,lo importante era divertirse que fué lo que hicimos.
¿el mas recordado?
El que as recuerdo es el torneo XPSL Bakersfield del 2008,despues de ganarlo el año anterior con 4 marcadoras de alquiler,por entonce smis amigos y yo jugabamos para Odonto. Siempr ehabiamos tenido una amistosa rivalidad con el equipo Splat Kids que fueron grande sy amistosos rivales.Ese año jugabamos las finales contra ellos,al mejor de 3.Sacaron a mis traseros y 2 delanteros,solo quedé yo,y de Splat Kids tansolo quedaba uno activo.Le dispare unas cuantas veces en la mascara pensando que le habia dado,de repente mi marcadora dejó de funcionar y me apuré a arreglarla,fué cuando sali del mi obstaculo,pensando que el estaba eliminado,sin saber que un ref me habia dado el Out ami,le disparé en la espalda para asegurarme de que estaba fuera,muchos se quejaron a los arbitros que esa actitud fué antideportiva y le dieron esa partida a ellos.La verdad es que las 2 siguientes las ganaron de manera hionrosa,se merecian ese primer puesto.
¿Como llegaste a ser un jugador de Explicit? Yo ya me reuní con Rob y su esposa en anteriores eventos,en algunos campeonatos y en el campo de alquiler en Antioquia.Ya habiamos hablado muchas veces de jugar juntos y demás,en algun torneo o cosas asi.Pero todo se zanjó cuando Odon se disolvió en 2008.Rob me llamo inmediatamente,ami,y amis amigos cercanos,Bryan Hammond y Adam Florendo.Ami siempre me ha gustado la dedicación d elos equipos y Rob tenia ese pensamiento.Nuestro primer torneo con ellos fué la NPPL D2 de 2008.Alli supe que no solo pertenecia a un equipo,sino a una familia también.
¿Que significa para ti tu equipo?
Para mi Explicit es una familia,tenemos un vinculo muy especial,cada dia es mas fuerte y mas estrecho,es una segunda familia.
¿Que opinión tienes sobre el paintball en España? La mayor parte la he conocido por Malaga Beach y las coberturas de Millenium alli.El torneo de Málga parecia increible.Creo que la millenium hace un gran trabajo para promover el paintball,y además de una manera muy profesional,es bueno saber que hay gente como ellos o como tu que está promoviendo el paintball dandole mas popularidad,de una manera positiva como este blog.Cosas asi mantiene vivo a este deporte internacionalmente.
¿Donde crees que te encontrarás dentro de 10 años? 10 años es mucho tiempo,y muchas cosas pueden cambiar,tendré 40 años y supongo que seguiré siendo bombero en Davis.Pero de lo que estoy seguro es de que mi corazon y mi cuerpo estarán siempre dispuestos a seguir jugando.Supongo que no de una manera profesional.Jugaré al paintball siempre que pueda caminar.Y si en esos 10 años tengo un hijo,espero poder pasarles este deporte.Prometo que seguire jugando dentro de 10 años.
¿Cuantas cosas as dejado atrás por el paintball? E sacrificado mucho por el paintball,amigos,escursiones,trabajo y hoy en dia,el trabajo.He movido mis turnos para poder seguir jugando.Mientras mis compañeros se levantan para ir al campo y de excursión,yo me levanto temprano para trabajar,todo,para salvar los fines de semana para entrenar y acudir a torneos.He llegado a estar de servicio 24,48 y 72 horas sin tan siquiera dormir,para poder acudir a los entrenamientos.No solo eso,sino que tengo grandes lesiones,la espalda aplastada,las rodillas muy descolocadas,pero no cambiaria nada,todo eso vale la pena,sin este deporte,seria un miserable,creo que no podria hacer frente a la ira y al estrés de esta vida sino fuera descargandome en el campo.Es mi forma preferida de eliminar el estrés.
Se ha rumoreado sobre la incorporación de un jugador de NE Hurricane a las filas de SF Explicit. ¿Que puedes contarnos sobre eso? Es eso justamente,un rumor,aunque son un gran equipo y son una gran franquicia ademas de unos gran jugadores,nosotros no tenemos nada que ver con ningun traspaso.Pero lo que si puedo decirte es de la adquisición de Greg Siewers del equipo OC Bushwackers.Estamos ansiosos de empezar a jugar con el,su talento y sus habilidades son valiosas para nuestro equipo,esperamos jugar con el en DC.

Its been amazing to watch the evolution of paintball guns over the years I have been playing. They have gone from single shot pistols to these amazing High-tech electronic lazer acurate maching guns. I would have to admit Planet Ecplicpse by far is the best marker I have ever shot, they are fast, accurate, easy to maintain and reliable guns.
How did you start playing paintball?
I played paintball for the first time when I was 15 years old for a friends birthday party. I had never even heard of the game before then and had only played lazer tag before. I was instantly hooked on paintball after that and have been playing ever since.
What was your first tournament?
My first tournament was a local tournament at a field I use to play and work at. It was at Venture Games in Clayton California, just a woodsball field with pallets set up as bunkers. Me and the other local reffs entered and played the tournament. It was very different back then because we were using trees for bunkers and playing on the side of a hill. People would even through smoke gernades at us. I think we came in 2nd place and lost to a group of friends that were older than us. Back then it was all about having fun and we did just that. I wouldn't have mattered if we came in last place of first we had fun either way.
The most memorable tournament?
My most memorable tournament was the XPSL Bakersfield 2008 event. After winning the series championship in 2007 with Guns 4 Hire, me and my friends were now playing for team Odonto in 2008. We have always had a friendly rivalry with the Splat Kids, who were a very succesful and talented team. We have been battling it out with them for 2 years meeting eachother in finals on a regular basis. We were playing for first place in the finals agains them in a best of 3. The first game we got a lot of kills off the break and quickly closed in on the last few players of splay kids. When finally there was only there back left corner left, with 6 bodies left allive I knew I could just run him down and finish the game. So I took him on the inside, just as I was about to bunker him he ran out of his bunker toward back center, I already had my gun up and shot him in the face a few times he missed me all together and I stopped running and was walking to grab the flag, when I noticed that he was yelling at the reff that he shot me first and that he was still playing, I checked myself again to make sure I wasn't hit and I shot him again in the back. Some crazy stuff went down and the reffs called some insane penalties on us and gave the first game to the Splat Kids despite the crowdes negative reaction to the reffs decision. But we came back and won the next two games very convincingly to win the tournament.
How did you become an Explicit player?
I have met the owner of the Team ( Rob Montiero and wife Jana) many times in the past. First very casualy at a recreational field in Antioch. Then later at local and national events. They were both very open and kind people and I liked them both from the very first time I met them. I got to watch them develope from a young guns team to a competative D2 team in a very short period of time. I always like the teams dedication and work ethic. Me and Rob have always talked about me coming over and playing with him but I always had prior commitments to other teams. So when Odonto was dispanded in 2008, Rob was the first person I called. Rob picked up myself, and my close friends and teammates Bryan Hammond and Adam Florendo. We played our first event with Explicit in San Diego NPPL D2 in 2008. I knew right then and there that this was a team and family I wanted to be part of.
What does your team mean to you?
To me Explicit means family. I have become very close to my team and feel like they are a second family. We have a tight bond on this team and are growing closer and stronger with every day.
What is your opinion on the paintball in Spain?
Most of the exposure to paintball in other countries I have found through coverage of the Millennium Series. The tournament in Malaga looked amazing. I think the Millennium Series does a great job of promoting the sport and putting on very proffesional tournaments. Its always good to see paintball growing in popularity around the world. Its good to know that there are people like you out there that are promoting the sport in positive ways like this blog. Things like this will be what keeps this sport allive internationaly.
Where do you think you are within 10 years?
10 years is a lot of time and a lot of things can change by then. I will be 40 years old by then and I will still be working as a firefighter in Davis. I don't think my body will be able to play proffesional paintball anymore but Im sure my heart will want to. I will probably still play paintball as long as I can walk, but as far as competition goes I will probably play the Police and Fire leagues at a much lower level just to have fun and hangout with my friends. I look forward to passing this sport on to my children and if I have kids in 10 years I can promise they will be playing paintball.
How many things have you given up for paintball?
I have had to sacrafice a lot for paintball. It has been a part of my life for over a decade. I have given up my weekends for practice and tournaments. So when my friends are all going on trips to the lake and to the mountains to ski, I am waking up early and going to grind it out at the field. I have also made sacrafices at work, having to change my schedule and work extra days in order to get the weekends off for practice and tournaments. So instead of just working a normal 24 hour shift like usual I end up working either 48 or even 72 hours straight to get my weekends off. But most of all I have sacraficed my body for paintball. Running as fast as you can and throwing yourself into the ground takes its toll on you after awhile. I have two bad knees, bad shoulders and a bad back all mostly from paintball injuries. But all of this is worth it, because I would be misserable without this sport. I don't think I could cope with the stress of life without being able to release frustration and anger on the paintball field. It is my favorite outlet for stress.
It has been rumored on the incorporation of a NE Hurricane player to the ranks of SF Explicit. What can you tell us about that?
That is just a rumor that got blown out of praportion. Although the Hurricanes are a great paintball franchise with very talented players, we will not be picking up any of their players. Rob only takes local players on this team because of our demanding practice schedule. I can tell you that we have officially picked up Greg Siewers of the OC bushwackers. We are very excited to have a player of Greg's calibure play with us. His skills and experience will be valuable to our team and we look forward to playing along side him in DC.

I don't think I could cope with the stress of life without being able to release frustration and anger on the paintball field. It is my favorite outlet for stress.
It has been rumored on the incorporation of a NE Hurricane player to the ranks of SF Explicit. What can you tell us about that?
That is just a rumor that got blown out of praportion. Although the Hurricanes are a great paintball franchise with very talented players, we will not be picking up any of their players. Rob only takes local players on this team because of our demanding practice schedule. I can tell you that we have officially picked up Greg Siewers of the OC bushwackers. We are very excited to have a player of Greg's calibure play with us. His skills and experience will be valuable to our team and we look forward to playing along side him in DC.

Este es el mejor escrito que puede resumir la historia de SF EXPLICIT,escrito por mi hijo Ryan, quien también juega en SF Explict. Así fue la razón por la que empecé esta locura que a la larga se convirtio en mi deporte y en mi amor,por mi hijo.
Todo empieza jugando entre amigos e hijos,lo cual,al poco tiempo se convisrtió en algo aburrido. Él comienza a preguntarse si tal vez sólo tal vez yo podría hacerlo. Pasó de sólo una vuelta para el inicio de un gran viaje y un capitán inspirador. El aumento de Explicit y el futuro que tenemos por delante de ellos. Robert Montiero fue sólo otro padre en el campo del aprendizaje del Paintball,el nos instrodució. Asegurarse de que su hijo había divertido y lo apoyo en lo que hace. Él tiene una familia y trabaja en una empresa de transporte, pero aun así votó por otro desafio, Paintball. Su hijo empieza a tomarse esto enserio,y por lo cual compra todo lo necesario: marcadora,botella cargador y todas las prendas de vestir se puede imaginar.
Una vez que pasa el tiempo,se estabilizan y ven que necesitan mas. La adrenalina comienza a bombear y quiere más de este deporte. En cierta manera el Paintball ya lo atrajo antes incluso de empezar a jugar. Aquí es donde todo empezó a elevarse,los duelos entre padre e hijo se convirtieron en entrenamientos. Continuaron durante dos meses antes de reunirse para hablar con todos los amigos que por entonces jugaban. Poco a poco el juego evolucionó y se hicieron mas fuertes y por lo tanto eran mas difíciles de plantar cara. Un campeonato amateur, torneos aquí y allá y listos para subir de categoria. Explícit que figura a su primer gran torneo con un equipo de 9. XPSL es una de las muchas ligas que eran alrededor de los jugadores experimentados. Explicit se presento a 7-m.
XPSL Vegas'06 fue la revelación del equipo Explícit. A pesar de que terminó 23ro de 74 equipos , se sintieron bien orgullosos Rob estaba decidido a hacer de este equipo un gran estrellato.Los entrenamientos aumentaron. Explícit empezó a practicar sin parar contra los mejores equipos. Rob me dijo que "YO sólo obtendria lo mejor mediante la práctica con los mejores". Por el echo de que nunca pasaban el corte en los torneos deciden dedicar domingo y sabado a entrenamientos. Comenzaron a probar tecnicas nuevas y diferentes jugadores. Una cosa que tienes que aprender es que los jugadores van y vienen. Sólo quería escojer jugadores que tienen el ganas de ganar y jugar en Explicit. Como las cosas se juntaron y tuvieron algunas victorias Rob hizo una promesa a nadie se le olvide. "Vamos a ser pros en 2 años,no importa como lo hagamos." Esto resonó en la mente durante meses. Como continuación de la temporada,ganan un 3er lugar en San José XPSL pero esto no fue lo suficientemente bueno para ellos. El 2008 llega a asu fin con la colocacion de Explicit en
En un par de semanas Rob recibió una llamada que cambiaria el futuro de Explicit para siempre. Pasando por encima de
Empezamos todos a jugar mejor para un día llegar al nivel profesional. Robert como entrenador que aprende, apunta alto, y nunca pierde. Convertirse en pro vino un poco más rápido de lo que esperaba. A lo largo de su viaje desde la base que había establecido, entra en su primer torneo pro listo para cualquier cosa. Familia, amigos y Explicit de los jugadores no estaban aconstumbrados para la cantidad de aficionados que estaban a punto de presenciar. Se anunció el gran juego y la gente fue eufórica a presenciarlo. Ruge,dio a los chicos la confianza que necesitan para ganar. Termina el torneo con sólo 20 puntos de forma orgullosa salen de su gran torneo de UCPL.
Habían adquirido experiencia y más importante, el respeto. Hasta el día de hoy que practican el doble días, no puede esperar hasta obtener otra oportunidad de demostrar a sí mismos. Para la mayoría, paintball es una forma de vida y su equipo se convierte en su familia, los amigos se convierten en rivales.Es un sentimiento que nunca se quiere abandonar. Ser profesional no es caminar por el parque. Prácticar todos los fines de semana, muchos de funcionamiento, y un libro de ejercicios . Se esfuerzan por obtener mejores resultados en todo momento y no se detendrá hasta que alcance el lugar mas alto. Explícit no podría haber ido tan lejos sin la unidad, el liderazgo y la determinación de Robert Montiero como capitan.
This is best written by my Son Ryan who also plays on SF Explicit. Well he was the reason why I started this crazy sport that eventually became my love. As the day goes on he just can’t take it. Just standing around while his son and friends play around is tiresome. He starts to wonder if maybe just maybe I could do this. It went from just a drop off to the start of a great journey and an inspiring captain. The rise of Explicit and the future that lies ahead of them. Robert Montiero was just another father at the field learning the sport. Making sure his son had fun and supporting him in whatever he does. He has a family and runs a transportation company but today he takes on one of the greatest challenges. Paintball. As his son plays for the first time his mind starts to wonder and impulse kicks in. He buys everything: Marker, hopper, tank and all the apparel you could think of. Once you begin playing there is something that just over comes’ you. Adrenaline starts pumping and you want more. Paintball had already grabbed him before he started playing. Here’s where it all was set in motion. Paintball had turned this father and son duo into weekend warriors. They continued this every weekend streak of practice for two months before meeting friends that loved the sport too. As they grew together so did their knowledge of the game. A couple young gun tournaments here and there and they were ready. Explicit set out to their first big tournament with a team of 9. XPSL is one of the many leagues that were around for the experienced players. This introduced Explicit to 7-man style of play. XPSL Vegas ’06 was the unveiling of Team Explicit. Although they finished 23rd out of 74 teams they held their heads high. Rob was determined to make this team a top contender. Practice schedules came soon after this tournament. Explicit started practicing non-stop against the best teams around. Rob had a saying that “You only get better by practicing the best.” Tournament after tournament they missed the cut just barely to make the day that everyone hopes for, Sunday. This only made Rob train the team harder and harder. This led to practicing both Saturday and Sunday. They began trying out new things and different players. One thing you have to learn is that players come and go. Rob only wanted players that have the hunger to win and play for Explicit. As things came together and they had a few wins under their belt Rob made a promise no one would forget. “We will go pro in two years no matter how we do it.” This resonated in the boys mind for months to follow. As the season continued they would win a 3rd place in XPSL San Jose but this wasn’t good enough. With the ’08 year coming to an end and only the NPPL Commanders Cup left, Explicit went in guns blazing. They ended up placing 7th but had learned a lot and only made them want more. A couple weekends had passed and Rob got a call that would change Explicit forever. With the NPPL going under and new leagues emerging they were offered a once in a lifetime opportunity. With USPL coming into play as the new 7-man league they had met and made a huge decision. Every pro team manager had met and chose to bring a select few divisional teams up into the big leagues. Robert was offered a spot to become a professional paintball team. As the entire team had learned of the news it was unanimous. Explicit would be a new and upcoming pro team. This was a dream come true to every one of our players. We all play to get better and one day get to the level of pro. Having Robert as a coach you learn that he aims high and never misses. Becoming pro came a little faster then he had expected but he got them their. Through out their journey from the bottom up they had settled down with a set squad and would go into their first pro tournament ready for anything. Family, friends and the players of Explicit weren’t ready for the fan base they were about to witness. The grand stands announced there first game on center court and the crowd went wild. Roars from every corner came in and gave the boys the confidence they needed to win. Ending the tournament with only missing Sunday by 20 points made Explicit proud of their first pro event. They had gained experience and more important the respect. To this day they practice double days and can’t wait till they get another chance to prove themselves. To most, paintball is a way of life and your team turns into your family, rivals turn into friends. To know that when you step on the field that everyone is gunning for the same thing is unreal. It’s a feeling that you never want to give up. Being pro is no walk in the park. Practice every weekend, lots of running, and a whole book of drills keeps Explicit going. They strive to get better at every turn and won’t stop till they reach the top. Explicit couldn’t have gone this far without the drive, leadership and determination of Robert Montiero at the reins.
